Landscapes is aa prototype in generating 2D Mountainous landscape scenery.

The scope of the prototype was to create a procedural landscape generator that can make a scenery reminiscent of the promotional artwork from the game Firewatch by Campo Santo, the treeline in the foreground and the mountains in the background.

The terrain is generated using varying levels of perlin noise that added up gives out a natural looking mountain range, the noise is then converted into a mesh to create the mountains, as for the forest in the foreground a treeline texture i applied to the mesh so to look like a forest.

Prototype made in unity3D, coded in C#, textures made with Photoshop.
